I lost my blog.

One minute is was there, the next it wasn’t.

But I’m not bummed. I see it as a challenge. I chance to build a site better than ever.

Where oh where has my blog gone? Where oh where can it be?

I took a major step this weekend and purchased my domain name. Easy enough. Then came the hard part. Actually building my new site.

It took 48 hours, a lot of cursing, and a lot of tears. But I finally made some headway. I did a major happy dance when I went to the site and there was actually something there. YAY!

So between finishing my proposal…hmmm wasn’t I supposed to do that this weekend…and claiming my place in the cyber world. I’m a busy busy girl. (once again reasons why getting married in Vegas is awesome. The wedding is the only thing I don’t have to worry about.)

Okay back to work. I have another day off from “work” and I want to take advantage of all this “free” time. So, breakout the moving boxes kids, because soon I will have a new home!

Days til Wedding: 156

I haven’t been as focused on the wedding the past few days. I think I’ve started to calm down. That and I have other things on my mind like my book proposal, a new weave, and Halloween.

I’m hoping to complete my proposal while I have time off from work this week. I’ve got seven pages so far. Just need to wrap it up and finish my sample chapter.

I’ve also replaced my usually short tresses with a long flowy weave. I thought I’d try it out for the wedding but have become quite fond of it. I think it’s also brought on a change in attitude. I can’t help but feel like a diva and have taken more notice to how I look lately.

I’m unusually excited about Halloween this year. It is actually one of my least favorite holidays. I don’t tend to enjoy making a fool of myself on purpose. But this year I can’t wait to get dressed up. Okay, I’ll be honest. I didn’t get excited until I discovered this awesome chubby girl clothing site that has the hottest costumes. So, it’s really the excuse to shop that has me excited.

I decided to go as goldilocks because it was the cutest and a bit sexy. Although frankly I hate goldilocks. What is the purpose of this story? That a pretty young self entitled blonde, who is hard to please can have whatever she wants and get away with breaking and entering with not even an hour of community service? If goldilocks was black she’d be doing 3 to 5 at the state pen! But I digress…

I since nixed the goldilocks costume because that would mean putting a blonde wig over my pretty new tresses. No, I must find another equally cute, yet slightly sexy, costume. I can’t wait to start shopping.

Today while at Whole Foods I over heard a woman talking about Vegas. At the mere mention of the city I got all excited and anxious like a little toy puppy. I was tempted to leap over two cashiers and a bag boy to dicuss my upcoming nuptuals with this complete stranger.I need to get the wedding off my mind. But how?
