There I was on the elliptical struggling. Struggling to pump my legs, move my arms. I felt weighted by the burden to lose this weight. Consumed by the damaged I did yesterday when I ate half my days calories in one meal.
I was just about to give up when I felt a bead of sweat drip down my face. That was when my inner trainer spoke up.
Transformation doesn’t come easy and is only for the strong. Strength is only discovered when you’ve done what you thought was hard. When you’ve accomplished the impossible. But the strength was always there. Just waiting for you to come around.
Every bead of sweat is a symbol of courage. Courage to get up off the couch. Courage to attempt a transformation. Courage to finish this workout.
Then before I knew it. I was running.
